Three civilians were gunned down on the night of November 29 when their vehicle came under attack in the Paktia Kot area, east of Kabul. The Afghan interior ministry press officer confirmed the incident, saying five shopkeepers in the Nadir Pashtun Watt area of Kabul were on their way home when their vehicle was attacked by unidentified armed men, killing two and wounding the other three. A 10-year-old girl who was in the area was also killed, said the source. The officer said the criminals had not been identified and police have launched an investigation.
