Youth Debate Role in Driving Social Change

Nuraim Ryskulova reports on a national youth camp where young people gathered from all over Kyrgyzstan to discuss how they could change their country for the better.

The capital Bishkek frequently hosts events aimed at young people, but those in the countryside rarely have opportunities to get involved. The youth camp’s organisers made a determined effort to invite people from rural areas.



Aigul Ryskulova, Kyrgyzstan’s minister of labour and migration, attended the event and said one of her priorities was to help young jobseekers find employment.
