Two militants killed in Helmand

Arman-e-Milli is an independent daily run by a group of journalists.

Two Taleban fighters were killed in the Baghran district of the southern province of Helmand on the night of May 1, officials said. A senior provincial security official said the two militants were identified as Mullah Shirin and Mullah Din, and were killed during a joint operation by Afghan and Coalition forces. The source said the operation to capture Taleban insurgents in the area was still continuing.
