Turkey Accused of Bombing Iraqi Kurdistan

Eyewitnesses said that the Turkish forces have intensified their military operations inside Iraqi Kurdistan. They have bombed the outskirts of the villages of Nizdoor, Kashan and Alush, close to the town of Zakho on the border with Turkey. A Kashan resident said 30 shells landed in the village causing some locals to flee. The residents of the border villages called on the Iraqi Kurdistan authorities to try to stop the Turkish army artillery bombardment.
