Taleban commander captured in Zabul

Hewad is a state-run daily published mostly in Pashto.

Police arrested a well-known Taleban commander in the southern province of Zabul on April 4. Provincial police chief General Nabi Mullahkhel confirmed the news, saying commander Abdullah Zabuli, who was living in neighbouring Pakistan, had come to the province to carry out attacks and was inciting local residents to fight Afghan government troops.
