Talabani Will Not Attend Arab Summit

Al-Ittihad is published daily by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, led by Talabani.

Iraq president Jalal Talabani will not attend the Arab Summit in Khartum on March 28 and March 29 due to top national interests requirements, the fast-forming new national unity government and because he plays a central role in meeting with leaders of various political blocs. Talabani asked foreign minister Hoshyar Zebari to chair the Iraqi delegation at the summit.
