A nine-member gang suspected of dealing in drugs and another group accused of forging official stamps have been arrested by security forces in Sulaimaniyah. Brigadier Sarkawt Hassan, the head of security in the city, said the alleged drug gang members were all Kurds, eight Iranian and one from Iraq. The brigadier said special emphasis has been placed on cracking down on drugs since the beginning of this year. The three forgers are accused of making up the official stamps for 14 different government offices.
