Sistani Calls for Fraternity

Al-Sabah is a daily, publicly-owned newspaper.

Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani's has asked the public to reject sectarianism and support each other. He insisted that some satellite channels announcing edicts [in his name] had nothing to do with him. He urged Iraqis to live in peace and to turn their backs on those who want to foment civil war.
