Simic has told the court that while he is in Bosnia from May 10 to 25, he will arrange Orthodox religious services and deal with legal formalities relating to his parents' estates.

He will be required to stay within the municipality of Samac and report to the local police on a daily basis. He will also be banned from seeking contact with anyone who has testified in his trial, or even discussing his case with anyone other than his defence lawyers.

Simic was freed from the tribunal's custody from November 4 to November 7, 2004, in order to attend memorial services for his late father. In deciding on his latest application, judges noted that he had fully complied with the rules governing his release on that occasion.
