School torched in Helmand

Anis is a state-run daily published mostly in Dari.

Unidentified militants torched a boys’ school in the Nawzad district of the southern province of Helmand on the night of February 2. Provincial officials said the perpetrators fled the scene, and police launched a search operation. The school building and some other property were destroyed in the fire.
