Hewad is a state-run daily published mostly in Pashto.
Unidentified armed men set fire to a school in the Gilan district of the central province of Ghazni on the night of February 13, officials said. Provincial officials said the school was burned down by two armed motorcyclists in Agho Khan village. The building was completely destroyed in the fire. Officials said police arrested three suspects and seized a Kalashnikov assault rifle in connection with the incident.
