Addustour is an independent daily published by former journalist Basim al-Sheikh.

Iraqi foreign minister Hooshiar Zeebari asked Russia to use its power to stop the neighbouring states from interfering in Iraqi affairs. He discussed with Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov increasing cooperation between the two states, especially in terms of trade and exchanging experts. The Russian foreign minister expressed Russia's willingness to help Iraq in the oil and gas sectors. The visit aims to increase cooperation with Russia in rebuilding Iraq.
