Rocket attack thwarted in Nangarhar

Outlook is an independent daily published in English.

Security officials in the eastern province of Nangarhar say they have thwarted a plan to fire rockets at the provincial capital Jalalabad. A spokesman for provincial police headquarters Colonel Abdul Ghafoor, said 10 MB-12 rockets were recovered in the Surkhrod district, where they were primed to target the city.
