Results to be displayed at polling centres

INEC has taken a major step towards making today’s elections transparent and credible.

Presiding officers have been mandated to paste the results of the elections at the polling units.

INEC Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, confirmed this at a press briefing on Thursday.

He said sensitive electoral materials had been distributed in time while all INEC offices have also received the result sheets.

With the level of preparation, it is expected that voting will commence early all over the country.
