President Karzai to address Pakistani military

Anis is a state-run daily published mostly in Dari.

Afghan president Hamed Karzai will pay an official visit to Pakistan in the coming week. According to foreign ministry spokesman Naweed Ahmad Moiz, during his two-day stay in Pakistan, the president will hold talks with his counterpart President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. The president’s talks with Pakistani officials will focus on boosting cooperation in all areas including the war on terror, trade and economics. Karzai will deliver a speech at the Pakistani military academy about his government’s achievements in the war on terror.
