Opposition to Join Forces?

According to politician Melis Eshimkanov, the opposition Movement for Reforms to which he belongs is to issue a statement on March 19 making it clear which of its members support the recently formed United Front for a Worthy Future for Kyrgyzstan, led by former prime minister Felix Kulov. There has been some speculation that the two groups might join forces, but NBCentralAsia observers have pointed out that one of the Movement for Reforms co-chairmen, Almaz Atambaev, has been unenthusiastic about the emergence of another big opposition group, and he does not share the more radical stance taken by Kulov’s followers.
