The province is coming back to life after years of conflict.

Nineveh Reborn

Ahead of this year’s Mosul Peace festival, IWPR created a video to show how Nineveh is recovering from the effects of war and destruction.

It shows how the area is being brought back to life through the resilience of local people and young people acting as agents of change.

The reconstruction includes not only the renovation of infrastructure and business but also the building of tolerance between people of different faiths and cultures.
