New Plan to Collect Arms from Militias

Brigadier Abdul Aziz Mohammed, chief operational officer for the defence ministry, has asserted that the ministry would collect all of the weapons from militias and other groups that are not part of the government's security forces. In a press conference, Mohammed said the goal of the security plan was to disarm armed militias and terrorists. He said the cabinet will review the new proposal to collect weapons from the groups.
