Missing policemen return to Garamser

Outlook is an independent daily published in English.

Three policemen who went missing after an encounter with Taleban insurgents in the Garamser district of the southern province of Helmand have reported for duty. Helmand police chief Abdul Rahman Sabir retracted an earlier claim that Taleban had kidnapped the policemen after the clash, which left nine policemen dead and two wounded. He explained that three had taken shelter in a nearby village.
