Ministry Seek to End Baghdad Fuel Shortages

Al-Sabah al-Jadeed is an independent daily paper.

A spokesman for the oil ministry says it has set up “an emergency room” to address the fuel crisis that began after a curfew was imposed in Baghdad. He said the ministry has ordered 100 tankers carrying 3.5 million litres of fuel to be brought in from southern Iraq to Baghdad to end the shortages.
