Maliki speaks of media freedoms

Al-Ittihad is published daily by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

Addressing Iraqi media representatives, Prime Minister Maliki has said that everyday sees the launch of a new media outlet that might criticise the government and officials - a reflection of the freedom in Iraq since the overthrow of Saddam.
