Iraqis Detained in Lebanon Arrive in Baghdad

Al-Mada is issued daily by Al-Mada institution for Media, Culture, and Arts.

Twenty-eight Iraqis detained in Lebanon arrived in Baghdad airport yesterday on a (Lebanese) Middle East Airlines plane. Ministry of transport spokesman Ahmed al-Mosawi said they were the second group of detainees to have arrived from Lebanon – the first included 11 detainees. The prisoners were sent back to Iraq after transport minister Salam al-Maliki visited Lebanon and agreed to take those Iraqis who illegally infiltrated Lebanon.
