Intelligence officer injured in Paktia “feud”

Outlook is an independent daily published in English.

An intelligence officer was wounded overnight after unidentified gunmen stormed his house and attacked him in the Zurmat district of the south-eastern province of Paktia, security officials said on March 7. Provincial intelligence chief Colonel Ghulam Nabi Salim said armed men attacked the house of officer Eid Mohammad with light and heavy weapons. Eid Mohammad was wounded and his house damaged. Nabi said the motive was a personal feud.
