Gunmen Blew Up Shia Mosque in Baquba

Al-Bayan is issued four times weekly by the Islamic Da'wa Party, chaired by Iraqi prime minister Ibrahim al-Ja'fari.

An official source with Baquba police said that terrorist gunmen have blown up a Shia mosque in al-Abbara district of Baquba, damaging a big part of the mosque. No one was killed in the incident. The source mentioned nothing about the techniques used in bombing the mosque. Meanwhile, two police elements and one civilian were wounded by a roadside bomb and police diffused five other roadside bombs in the city.
