Baghdad is a daily newspaper issued by the Iraqi National Accord.

Deputy prime minister Barham Salih met with Ashraf Kadi, the representative for United Nations' secretary-general Kofi Annan. Kadi said the United Nations is ready to support and aid the (reconciliation) conference that is expected to draw international representatives. A declaration issued by the deputy prime minister's office praised the United Nations' efforts and the important role its organizations play in Iraq to support the democratic process.
