Eyewitness Accounts of Kyrgyzstan Bloodshed

IWPR's radio reporters in Kyrgyzstan interviewed residents of the south of the country to find out what was going on in the immediate aftermath of ethnic clashes.

Inga Sikorskaya, an IWPR editor normally based in Bishkek, was in Osh when the violence broke out and gives her own account of events as they unfolded. A fuller version of the interview is available here.

The audio programme, in Russian, went out on national radio stations in Kyrgyzstan, as part of IWPR project work funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
