EFCC quizzes out-going Speaker

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), says it will start questioning out-going Speaker, Dimeji Bankole from Monday morning for alleged corruption.

Bankole was arrested and detained by the EFCC on Sunday night. He is to explain why the House took a ten billion Naira (N10b) loan and what happened to the money.

But the out-going Speaker has already said the money was used to pay for extra allowances approved for principal officers of the House excluding himself.
