Diplomat Returns to Key Education Post

A former education minister has returned from diplomatic exile to take up his old job in Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov’s new government. Khydyr Saparlyev was ambassador to Armenia prior to his appointment, but before that he was education minister in 2004-05. In his new role, has already started work on reinstating a ten-year educational programme in the schools instead of nine.
