Cyber Security: What Are Proxy Programmes?

Short animated film from CyberArabs.
By CyberArabs

In countries where the government blocks websites deemed to be politically undesirable, activists still find ways of getting round the obstacles.

This film describes how users can use proxy programmes to access blocked sites and avoid surveillance by intrusive security services.

This film was made by IWPR’s project on digital security for the Middle East. More material (in Arabic) can be found at CyberArabs website and on the CyberArabs Facebook page
