Conference to Combat Violence Against Women

Norwegian People's Aid held a conference in Sulaimaniyah on combating violence against women in the Middle East. Delegates from the Iraqi, Palestinian, Lebanese and Norwegian governments participated, as well as some local international organisations. The head of Norwegian People's Aid in Kurdistan addressed the conference and talked about the policy of the organisation in combating violence against women. In the final part of the conference, participants discussed issues of concern to women.
