Baghdad-Basra highway blocked

Baghdad is a daily newspaper issued by the Iraqi National Accord.

Basra police sources have confirmed that the Baghdad-Basra highway was blocked because of clashes between the Karamsha and Hallaf tribes, provoked by the killing of two members of the Karamsha tribe two days ago. The sources said that the Iraqi army intervened to stop the violence, which had led to many casualties on both sides.
