Australians go Dutch on embassy

Cheragh is an independent daily run by the Development and Democracy Association.

Australian prime minister John Howard has said his country is to share a Kabul embassy with the Netherlands. He made the announcement in comments he made to the press alongside Dutch prime minister Jan Peter Balkenende on April. Australia is to deploy 200 more troops in Afghanistan, while the Netherlands has already stationed 2,000 troops there.
