The continuing after-effects of the "war on terrorism" have thrown Armenia and the United States into something that would have been unthinkable only a few months ago, military cooperation.


In mid-March, a de-mining centre, financed by the US government and staffed by Armenian army personnel, opened in the town of Echmiadzin.
