Ceasefire in Ramadi

Al-Mada is issued daily by Al-Mada institution for Media, Culture, and Arts.

US forces distributed pamphlets to the people of Anbar, requesting they participate in a dialogue between officials, prominent figures and tribal leaders to end tensions in the area. Sources told al-Mada that the meeting would concentrate on how to reach solutions to end clashes between US forces and the armed groups there. The pamphlet urged the people to attend the meeting, which was expected to be held on November 28, 2005, without fear of arrest.
