About IWPR

About the Role

IWPR is seeking a Graphic Designer to support the layout and design of three final reports. The selected candidate should have experience working on projects related to journalism programs, media development, or other types of public communication, and will work closely with our team to produce publication-ready documents that reflect IWPR’s visual identity and present complex information in a clear and engaging way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design the layout for three reports (approx. 100 pages each), ensuring clear visual hierarchy and a strong editorial presentation.
  • Apply styles, typography, and brand guidelines consistent with IWPR’s communication standards.
  • Integrate graphics, infographics, photographs, and other visual elements.
  • Deliver final files ready for print/PDF, as well as editable source files.
  • Coordinate with the program team to incorporate revisions within agreed timelines.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in graphic design for nonprofit organizations or projects related to journalism and public communication.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating editorial design and digital publication experience.
  • Willingness to receive feedback.
  • Creativity to generate multiple graphic options.
  • Experience working bilingually or with bilingual content (English/Spanish) is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Immediate availability.
