Interior Ministry: Terrorism Will Be Eliminated

An interior ministry source said the new minister, Jawad al-Boolani, has met with top ministry officials to discuss new security plans. He said the government would use an iron fist to eliminate terrorism and terrorists by depending on intelligence information. He said intelligence information could help unveil dens and hideouts belonging to insurgents and terrorists. Boolani reported that he would increase the number of security forces and set up standard checkpoints in Baghdad. He asked the people to cooperate with security forces by not hiding terrorists because in doing so they might face the same destiny of the terrorists.
