Al-Maliki Announces Security Reforms

Al-Sabah al-Jadeed is an independent daily paper.

Prime Minister Noori al-Maliki has announced the creation of a ministerial committee aimed at reforming the security ministries so that they can better combat terrorism, violence and sectarianism. He said the committee will look at weaknesses that prevent the security forces from carrying out their duties and review the structure of the ministries.
