Talks Between Talabanbi and Barazani

Al-Ittihad is published daily by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

President Jalal Talabani met with Kurdistan Regional Government president Masood Barazani to discuss political issues and forming the new government. During the talks, which were attended by US ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad, the two presidents discussed the future of Iraq and the necessity of forming a national unity government. They emphasised that the new government should include all Iraqi groups based on their electoral (seats) and national (representations.) Meanwhile, Barazani received the Greek ambassador in Iraq and talked with him about bilateral relations, (Iraqi) politics and the forming of the new government.
