Provincial councils are “bridge” between people and Kabul

Anis is a state-run daily published mostly in Dari.

A three-day meeting of provincial council members concluded on March 1 in Kabul with a 13-point resolution. Addressing participants, Sibghatullah Mujaddidi, speaker of the Meshrano Jirga, the upper house of parliament, told them, “You are like a bridge between the government, the people and the parliament.”
