Poor Public Services Blamed on Corruption

Judge Radhi al-Radhi, the head of the Committee for Public Integrity, has said administrative and financial corruption in the government are responsible for the deterioration in public services such as electricity, security and health. He said the worsening security environment facilitated corruption, and people were afraid to inform the authorities for fear of being targeted or threatened.
