An Afghan driver who was abducted along with an Indian road engineer and two Afghan guards in the southern province of Nimroz on November 19 was set free on November 21, officials said. Interior ministry spokesman Yousuf Stanikzai said the driver was being questioned by provincial intelligence officials. Security officials say they have no information regarding the fate of the other hostages. Mohammad Hashim Alokozai, chief of Khashroad district of the province, said search operations were continuing in the Dasht-e-Bakwa and Delaram areas.
