Zebari: No New Front Against PKK

Kurdistan Nwe is a Kurdish political daily issued by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, PUK.

A delegation consisting of Premier Noori al-Maliki, Foreign Minister Hushiar Zebari and some other ministers is expected to arrive at Ankara today. In a statement to Kurdistani Nwe, Zebari said the delegation will discuss a number of issues, the most important being security, economic cooperation and water resources. He declared that neither Iraq nor the US were ready to open a new front against the PKK which has strongholds on the Iraqi Kurdistan-Turkish border.
