Al-Mada is issued daily by Al-Mada institution for Media, Culture, and Arts.

A security source said two journalists from the state-run al-Iraqia satellite channel were killed and six wounded on November 28 near Nafak al-Shurta area in Baghdad. Police captain Ahmed Abdullah from the Baghdad police division said unknown assailants targeted the team as they passed through the area in their car. The perpetrators escaped, and the wounded were treated at al-Yarmook hospital.
