Eric Nonacs

Eric Nonacs is a strategist and advisor whose career spans more than three decades across the nonprofit and private sectors. As the founder and Principal of Golden State, a Nashville-based consultancy established in 2013, he counsels philanthropists, entrepreneurs and senior leaders on building and strengthening impactful organisations worldwide.

Nonacs also currently serves as Managing Director of The Giustra Philanthropic Initiatives. His prior leadership roles include Executive Director of Modern Farmer and Vice President at the Skoll Global Threats Fund. Earlier in his career, he advised President Bill Clinton and The Clinton Foundation on foreign policy and global initiatives. He also held senior roles in international finance and conflict resolution organizations. Educated at the University of Chicago, the London School of Economics, and NYU, he is a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
