Four militants killed in Zabul

Anis is a state-run daily published mostly in Dari.

Four Taleban insurgents were killed in a clash with Afghan National Army soldiers in the southern province of Zabul on the night of May 5, officials said. General Rahmatullah Raufi, commander of the 205th Atal military corps, said that the army used intelligence reports to plan an ambush of a group of Taleban militants in the Jaldak area. The militants fled, taking the bodies of their dead with them.
