Three rockets hit a base of the US-led Coalition forces in the Waza Khowa district of the southeastern province of Paktika on the night of January 31, officials said. According to provincial officials, the men who launched the rockets escaped into Pakistan. Afghan and US forces have not commented on the incident. Waza Khowa district is located on the Afghan-Pakistani border, where there are frequent attacks by the Taleban.
