Two Taleban militants captured in Khost

Erada is an independent daily run by the Afghan Media and Resource Centre.

Afghan police arrested two Taleban fighters in the Gurbaz district of the south-eastern province of Khost on April 3. The militants were arrested while planting remote-controlled mines near a school in the Shir Khan area. Provincial deputy police chief Colonel Mohammad Zaman said that the detained militants were students at a religious school or madrassa, and are now being interrogated by local police.
