Financial Bonuses for Emergency Staff

Al-Sabah is a daily independent publicly owned newspaper.

Jasim Mohammed Karim, manager of the health ministry's emergency medical unit, said the ministry has agreed to give bonuses to medical staff treating emergencies. The bonuses will be rewards for their efforts and responsibilities in hospitals. He said the ministry has called on security ministries to provide medical staff with security and to stop violence against the doctors and the nursing staff working in emergency care. He said the hospitals will increase the number of specialists and receive imported medical equipment as well as 700 ambulances.
