Man stabs step-mother to death

Outlook is an independent daily published in English.

A man stabbed his step-mother to death in the southern province of Helmand, a top security official said on February 18. Provincial deputy police chief Colonel Assadullah Sherzad said that the suspect, Nazar Gul, who was from the Sapian area, is accused of killing his step-mother over a land dispute. Nazar Gul, whose father died recently, fled after the killing, and police have launched a manhunt.
