Reasons for the low-turn out of voters in last Saturday’s National assembly polls are beginning to emerge.

In her case, Mrs. Adeyemi, a trader, said she didn’t vote because she did not know any of the candidates and cannot simply vote for any face on a poster.
Abia, an unemployed youth, said he didn’t vote because he does not belong to any political party and does not trust any of the existing ones.
